Dr. Joan Crane graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1989. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology through Dalhousie University and Memorial University of Newfoundland, graduating in 1994. She then went on to complete a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1996. In 1998 she received a M.Sc. in Community Health and Epidemiology from Dalhousie University.
Dr. Joan Crane current research interests include the fields of labour induction (including the use of misoprostol), preterm birth and transvaginal ultrasound assessment.
Le Dr Joan Crane reçut son diplôme de la Faculté de médecine de Memorial University, Terre-Neuve, en 1989.
