Workshop on Transdisciplinarity

We are pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the STIRRHS Transdisciplinarity Workshop. It will be held in Montreal on November 14-15, 2008. Conferences and practical exercises will help attendees master this approach. Mentors and Trainees are most welcome!

STIRRHS News Monthly Forum

This fall you are invited to comment on two subjects on this discussion Forum:

• On October 13, 2008: Exploring the role of Integrin-linked kinase in placental development. Pia Elustondo research project, PhD candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
• On November 3, 2008: Health-care Professional Decision-Making in Neonatal Resuscitation at the Extremes of Prematurity. Mark Weir research project, MSc candidate at the University of Western Ontario.

If you're hosting or participating in an event, conference or meeting that you'd like to share, you can now post it on STIRRHS - simply click on the "More" link in the Upcoming Events block on the front page, and you will be able to add your event - complete with description, date and other information - to our calendar.

Atelier sur la transdisciplinarité

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer la deuxième édition de l’atelier sur la trandisciplinarité qui aura lieu à Montréal les 14 et 15 novembre prochain. Des conférences et des exercices pratiques permettront d’apprivoiser cette approche. Les mentors et les étudiants y sont bienvenus!
